| .NET is a business strategy that focuses on using online services instead of your own computer for many tasks. Microsoft developed this strategy and is focused on making users able to use Web-based applications to perform many functions. Microsoft’s strategy involves servers and data storage and also includes Microsoft Passport. Microsoft Passport allows users to fill in one form to verify their identity rather than taking time to fill out multiple forms. .NET makes it easier to store and access data, synchronize functions, and integrate other types of media with Web-based media. The entire .NET framework will take several years to finish, but new versions of Windows and Microsoft Office that utilize .NET will be released in the meantime. |
